Hello! I’m Laura Kaupang

(pronounced “co-pang”), a designer + illustrator and lifestyle blogger located in the Twin Cities. Design is one of my biggest passions and it brings me so much joy to be able to use my God-given talents in my career and personal life on a daily basis. 

I wouldn’t necessarily say that I became a creative as a result of a career choice; I like to think that the little designer and illustrator was inside of me ever since I was small. All of those glitter-covered Valentine’s Day cards, silly drawings, and homemade books paved the way for me to discover what I was designed to do: create beautiful things.

I have a passion for handlettering and developing my own line of children’s illustrations. Design is what I do, but pursuing an authentic life is what makes me who I am. Some of my favorite activities include living a fit + active lifestyle, going on adventures with my husband Andy and our son, Fletcher, and working on my Ph.D.
